The Queens have arrived

The wash tub has a gray substance on it. I've been wiping and wiping. Running through a hot wash with extra detergent now. Any better ideas on cleaning this crud out. Geez. I also sprayed with Fantastic that usually cuts grease. I'm really worried.

Thanks Uriah.Glad you like your set. I'm really impressed with build quality (other than they didn't get the serial number sticker applied properly). Something tells me that there are a bunch of these machines that were hurried out of the factory because of the government order. Hopefully the mechanical operation will be okay.
Did you have any problems with gray grime on the tub?

The gray stuff on the tub is polishing compound IIRC. I would try something stronger like Goof Off and then run it through a few cycles. Maybe call Speed Queen to see what they recommend.
