Hangers

Does anyone have any ideas of where to get hangers that are bigger.....

my partner is 6ft 4 1/2 inches tall....wide shoulders....shirt sizes XL to XXL

and the plastic and wire ones are too small, you get hanger "tits" or "peaks" after they are dried, and just don't hang right on these smaller ones.....

I have gotten a few that are 18 inchs across the bottom, but I need wider, something that will go shoulder to shoulder.....

I have made some from plastic pipe and 45 degree angles...this allows them to hang dry properly, and then transfer to a regular hanger, but I would like to find ones the "right" size to hang dry, and then straight to the closet....

any ideas?

go toa dry cleaners that specializes in cleaning draperies. The hanger they use are often wider--and heavier than shirt luandry hangers

Another option might be to ask at any big & tall mens stores if they have or can get you some of the type you seek.  My mother-in-law was a hanger hoarder.  She worked at a laundry for 30 years as a shirt presser, and accumulated quite a collection over the years.  The various types and sizes have come in quite handy over the years.

I too was gonna suggest what Tim suggested--a big & tall men's shop.  Their corporate buyeers have to have a source.

large hangers

Target has large hangers. Have looked several places WalMart KMart and other stores only found the large hangers at Target. They also appear to be heavier the the smaller hangers

Yogi, don't forget that huggable hangers also have clips you can order to hang up your Speedoes.
