I agree, Merry Manor for sure! Look here's the washer right out of Merry Manor...

Go Merry Manor Go

But look at how big Merry Manor is, gosh I would love a kitchen that size! I might reconfigure the center island to have two double bowl sinks (one pink and one turquoise) with four dishwashers, two on each side. Of course the dishwashers would be all different, each one more vintage than the next. Then I would put the 40" range where the current sink is now.

Since I confuse easily.....

Make mine "Merry Manor," as well.

Just imagine how confusing the Happy Haven kitchen could be. Having the oven right above the washer-dryer. Would I bake the towels at 350 or wash and dry the lasagne?

One thing I really like about the Merry Manor is that it appears to have a full size upright freezer, as well.
My current freezer space is about the size of four large postage stamps.

I wonder what they'd call these ones if they were made today, particularly with the "Monogram" line!
"Pretentious Palace?"

Turquoise is my all time favorite appliance color ...

So Mary Manor is the way to go!

(Love the idea of a the combo Happy Haven, but I'm a little squeamish at the idea of the wall over being located directly over the washer-dryer.)

Oven over combo -

Mike, if you plan your wash loads well, that GE combo could start pre-heating the oven - those things get HOT!

I would have to go with Merry Manor kitchen too, but since we're dreaming I'd have Happy Haven in the basement kitchen with a wall-refrigerator. I wonder why they didn't do that in the ad?

Am I missing something--where teh he** is dish storage in the Merry Maven? No above counter cabinets. Everything goes in teh lower cabinets. sorry, sucks. A neighbors house at the lake house had not upper cabinets--for opennesss as well as housewife was less than 5.0 ft. tall.

There are some turquoise metal cabinets on the left wall, next to the built-in TV/radio thing. I agree though, no upper cabinets would be a pain, I have a client with a kitchen like that - just 4 open shelves for dishes and glassware. I'd have to have a really large pantry or separate butler's pantry with it's own dishwasher!
