Thanks to time differences I can safely say Australians are a year in front of a bit of the planet atm lol....

Does that mean I can say (for the next few hours at least) "I am from the future" :P

A very Happy and Healthy 2009 to Everyone!

There hasn't been a year in recent memory which left us more divided and angry at each other than 2008.

It was truly a year when some of us won and some lost.

Let's hope 2009 can bring lots of vintage appliances (a 1950's-early 1960's Filter-Flo in Turquoise for instance) and personal happiness, health and joy.

My best wishes to all here and a genuine hope we can all work together next year.

And pantera, thank you once again for all your help in getting the GE oven thermostat and bulbs delivered to me!
My resolutions for this year are to stop using my current catch phrase "I don't have time" and replace it with "Hey boss I can't come in today"!! Well, that and finding the GE Filter-Flo washer in turquoise!!

The best part about having Australia so far ahead of us (timewise, that is), is that I can celebrate the New Year at 8:00 in the morning. Did that at the turn of the millenium.

That sure looks like an iMac screen to me.
