What a fun thread Fred, Love the "Green" Hoover collection! Your dinner looks fabulous! I love corn beef!!Did you fix it in a crock-pot. The last time I did one I used the pressure cooker and it turned out great.

Fred, thanks for the green Hoover pic, gave me an idea of what to use to clean the apartment today, so I dragged out my Spruce Green C bag model U4377 Convertible and did the living room.

Terry, I love corned beef too and I've got one in my pressure cooker as I type this. For 1.29/lb I stock up and occasionally throughout the year throw one in the crockpot and have Reubens. Nothing like creamy Thousand Island dripping out your mouth and down your fingers.

Alex, I have to agree it sure sounds good. Cornbeef is really expensive down here, the lowest I could find this past week was $2.99 a pound.
