Automatic Washer - The world's coolest Washing Machines, Dryers and Dishwashers

The Stirling Tale

Once upon a time there was a Samsung frontloader who ran into a Bosch one.
Bosch appliances have plenty of XX (Nexxt, Axxis...)
Samsung couldn't resist and they had a XXX affair
Nine months later ...... Stirling came to this world :)

Chinese often lack of imagination ... and too often win the Xerox Award :)

So Favorit.....

....are you saying that the washer above is a copy of a Bosch or is that a guess?

I ask, because whilst there have only been a couple of people comment on them in the link I provided, normally 'crap' machines get feedback very very quickly with better ones getting some or none....

Could be this is a bit of a bargain from the land of sweet and sour pork....and certainly no worse than some of the Electrolux stuff that has come out of Thailand

not a copy ... but a cocktail

Not commenting reliability, just the way it looks.
They took details and ideas from Samsung and BSH, put them in a blender et voila.

IMHO Chinese rarely are able to develop products with a somewhat own "personality"

A Korean washer (or car) doesn't look like other makes. They have their own DNA, i'm thinking also of LG direct drive technology unique to frontloaders.
Chinese goods look rather like clones of something already seen.

As for E'lux. Pity, also latest euro makes are scary. Last week while shopping I gave a glance to some "euro" toploaders
Indesit, Candy, Whirlpool still have the two drum lids made of stainless steel. AEG and Zanussi/Electrolux have that part of the drum made of carboran. Ten years ago these two brands were far better than the three above.... maybe now no more
