A Korean washer (or car) doesn't look like other makes. They have their own DNA, i'm thinking also of LG direct drive technology unique to frontloaders.
Chinese goods look rather like clones of something already seen.
As for E'lux. Pity, also latest euro makes are scary. Last week while shopping I gave a glance to some "euro" toploaders
Indesit, Candy, Whirlpool still have the two drum lids made of stainless steel. AEG and Zanussi/Electrolux have that part of the drum made of carboran. Ten years ago these two brands were far better than the three above.... maybe now no more
