I love all this leg pulling, esp 110. W0-65 2, which makes i

when in fact it is a Frigidorge or Norgeidaire, depending upon which warrrshday it is used. My belly is wiggling from youse carzy gooses.

Hope ya get it Eddie. Good luck, Man. It's either the double rinsing WO-65, missing its lttle orange light, or the overflow rinsing WO-65 2, missing its saftey switch tab. Can't see the detail well enough in the pic to tell. Either way, you done got yerself a rare gem. It will be wonderful.

Becareful What You Wish For

Would you rather the seller knew exactly what he had and like so many others, up the price into the several hundreds?

Poorly researched and or written adverts for vintage anything are a treasure for those who know what they are doing. Were the thing listed on eBay as it was originally, someone would have nabbed the deal of the year if not century.

If as a seller you do not know your stock, or what you've got, that is not my problem. One is quite happy to relieve an ignorant vendor of his merchandise at well below market, never letting on.

never said whirlpool... that came from you guys...

though I did originally list it as a Kenmore (mistakenly) because something else we found while cleaning out my mom's house was a Kenmore. The name stuck in my confused and overwhelmed head as I was writing the post.

My Mom just passed away, and I have a short few weeks to clear out her house. I put up a quick ad on craigslist when I found this washing machine in her garage. I put up the ad only on craigslist and without a price intentionally... honestly listing that I did not know the year or functionality of the machine so that as people would respond and hopefully make offers (and share info), I would then be able to update my post. Luckily, there were many honest people out there who had the integrity to help me decipher what it is I have... and more than enough offers poured in all day to allow me to feel that a fair price had been reached for both buyer and seller. I feel assured that my Grandma's washer won't be taken apart and sold for parts, instead going on to have a fabulous 2nd life.

Many of the people I spoke with from this club today were so friendly, enthusiastic and informative. I had a nice time chatting and learning bits about this devoted community that I never knew existed. I thought perhaps I'd join in here and learn more...

I don't think I'll be sticking around now, but I do thank those of you who were so nice today... It was an absolute pleasure.
