We have a new Crosely Wringer washer. We have used the machine for 6 months and the wringer "pops off" even if you are putting a terry cloth towel through let alone sheets, and blue jeans. The company has nothing to say about this. What do we do to get the wringer to wring instead of "popping off?" everytime we turn it on? Help, we need to hear the right thing to do. Thanks, ABC omatic and Fels Naptha

If you are talking about the machine I think you are then they were made in Mexico and are not very well made. You might want to find an old maytag wringer that is still in working order to use. Don

Reset the wringer, then let it alone for a while in a place that's nice and dry. If possible, let it be for several weeks and the popping should cease.

Matt,

they can be found south of the boarder and a few will float on eBay from time to time.......,
and I can say that this machine has one of the fastest agitational strokes for being a wringer washer.
I think it's about 72-80 SPM..
