Got this today in Poundstretchers. £11.99 for 80 washes. Smells like washing powder should smell. Just running the first load with it now. Sorry for the sideways photo.

I had a box of this about 2 years ago and while it was OK at cleaning I found it a bitch to rinse although like you say it smells great.
It seems to be nothing like Megaperls which are excellent.
Paul bought me a box of Ariel Hygiene last week which Im quite enjoying, The cleaning is probably a bit better than regular Ariel bio but the scent is old skool - just cant quite put my nose on what its similar to. I really want to say early 90's Surf Automatic powder but then its not quite like that!
Strange stuff.

This Persil is from Portugal and I have it as well. Smells nice, I do have the liquid version as well.
It is true that it is difficult to rinse it out but this is a issue with all Henkel brands. Henkel is bought by the traditional German housewife and those customers like to see foam in the machine otherwiese the laundry is not cleaned well.
I don't know but that addiction to foam seems to be typically German...

Well, 1st load is on it's second rinse and there are no bubbles at all!That was using 100ml. I bough a 10 wash box of Bold yesterday ( as it's in new packaging!) and that sent my machine into a hissy fit with sudslock and it ended up doing 5 rinses and the water was still not clear of suds, that was with 50ml! Won't be using that again!
As for this Persil's smell reminds me of a powder my mum tested for lever bros in the 70's, unfortunately all powder my mum got to test came in plain boxes so you never new what you were getting.

No rinsing issues here...

Used 120ml with a load of lights in the Miele and the water was clear on the 2nd rinse
- our water is Medium Hard but the Miele has a Cal Stop magnetic in line water treater....
