I`ve spent many an hour looking thru the photp pools on Flickr and find many enjoyable photos there.Check out this one on washers then try searchig the groups for anything else you like. I am especially fond of the groups on victorian houses.

Pete, Heres one that a friend started on George F Barber the architect who designed our house. He sold mail order house plan books in the 1890s, probably a prdesessor to the Sears and Alladin homes.

thanks.. I love looking at all those houses as well. There used to be quite a few here in Sarnia but unfortunately progress took its toll and many were demolished to make way for obscene business like banks, Midas, 7-11's etc.. you know what I mean.

In London Ontario, about 60 miles east of here, being a larger city and wealthier more businesslike instead of "blue collar" there are still hundreds of beautiful Victorian homes standing and well cared for from small cottage like to very grand. I should take some pics next time I go.

I've always wanted a turret!!! This is the Lawrence House in Sarnia,, still standing downtown. There's an almost identical to it one a few streets over but wood frame, and there's two identical ones as well over the river in Port Huron MI. Probalby all the same builder.
