Heres the ultimate question, Snuggle or Downey?

I use the house brand, and I use very little. I want my clothes a little softer with perhaps a hint of fragrance, not slimy and overpowering. How much you need depends a lot of your water. And of course, none in the towels!

Lavender Fabric Softener

"Now a little Lavender Sachet is another story........HA!"

I could only get Lavender Sachet back when I was visiting family in NY (Rochester). I would bring four bottles back a couple times a year on my carry on. Thank goodness my bag was never searched they would have thought I had a screw loose. I now use Downy Simple Pleasures Vanilla and Lavender and do not have to smuggle the Laveneder Sachet back to Phoenix.

I miss Final Touch!

I'm currently using a softener called CloWhite Fluffy, which I bought on a trip to New York two or three years ago. I was on one of those theater day trips, and while everyone else scampered off to be trendy new clothes, I went to the (now gone) 99-cent store on 42nd St. and got softener. I have no complaints.

Lavender Sachet

I actually have a bottle of that right now. We have a store here called "Drug Emporium", and they carry many of the "almost vintage" items that are still made, but cannot be found in many grocery stores, Wal-Mart, etc. You could spend hours there checking out all of the cool stuff.

I also agree with you Jim about Final Touch. I miss the smell of the vintage Final Touch. Along with the 1980's Oxydol. They were AWESOME!
