Hi, New SQ washer/dryer

Hi guys, Awesome forum you have here. I was so close to buying a 2000 model Whirlpool Design 2000 washer used but found the Speed Queens ! I have these two coming next week and thought to ask preemptively if there is anything I need to know ? We are big manual readers so that is not a problem. Do I need to adjust the water level ? Liquid / powder detergents ? Any tips very appreciated.

Other then removing both tub braces (the one on top of the basket and the one underneath the machine) I cant think of anything a person could easily miss. Id also avoid using that black rubber thing which comes with the machine that slips onto the drain hose end as it could get lodged in the stand pipe.

To my knowledge water level can not be adjusted on new Speed Queens, however, the water level does reach the top role of holes so no worry there.

Detergent is your preference. I like Tide powder (love it), but ultimately it does not make a difference.

If you are on who bypasses lid switches as I do a simple clothes pin or piece of cardboard in the back will do it.

One request lol, take pics when it arrives, I love new Queens!

Luckily I have it being installed, I am more wondering if there are any quirks or gotchas in operation to be aware of. Thanks so much !
