Hello everyone! I'm a new member to this site and can't tell you how happy I am to have found this site. I have been obsessed with laundry equipment for as long as I can remember. I learned at an early age that this was not cool for a male to be interested in, so I always kept it a secret from everyone. I never had anyone to talk to about it until now. Thank you all so much for making me feel that I'm not alone anymore. There are others out there like me. I can finally come out of the "laundry closet". Again, thank you so much for making me feel a part of a community.

Hi Frigiman, nice to meet you and see another Ohioian here. Im just outside of the Barberton area near Akron. You are welcome to join us other local guys when we meet occasionally here at my house. Bring a load a dirty laundry with you!

welcom new guy

This is a wonderful sight and with some wonderful people in it. I think most of us felt the same way, so kick your shoes off and set a spell and enjoy the pictures and videos. I sure do and welcome aboard. DanF.aka. Norgeman

Fridgiman,
This group is more precious than gold! Welcome!! I joined in January, and have been so fortunate to to be able to share interests with like minded people. I encourage you to meet your fellow Ohio folks whenever you can. A group of us in the Boston area met two weeks ago on a Saturday (this gathering is called a Wash-in) and had the best time. We just seemed to "click", now we are good friends. So kick up your heels and have a blast. When is the Ohio wash-in, folks?????

A big 'ol Texas welcome for you!

Howdy from Texas! This is one wild and crazy site!!

Enjoy -

Yo, Fridgiman, welcome aboard. Don't worry about closets and what people think. Tell them, "Guys like tinkering with mechanical stuff. Everyone else is into cars and I wanted to go for something different. Besides, it's cold as hell up here in the winter so I'd prefer to do my tinkering indoors." Leave it at that and let them chew on it for a while. Or follow up with, "You know and I know, that if you ever have an appliance break on you, you're going to want to call me up to fix it!"

And if someone persists in giving you a load of crap, ask them if they'd rather you spent your spare time gambling, drinking & driving, doing illegal drugs, or helping steal elections like in 2004. That should give 'em cause for pause.

Welcome !!!

I too am from ohio Its allways nice to see another person who likes to talk about washers and such hope to meet you soon Tim
