I laughed my ass off then sent him a message to look for a WP/KM DD or a SQ. Looks like he already has a WP he needs to throw the GE out and use it.

Nick thanks for posting this, it is pretty funny.
I have been saying for years that GE laundry since the mid 1990s is good on performance but virtually unrepairable after just a few years if you have a major problem that requires you to remove the washers inner tub. We have the proper [ special GE ] wrench to remove the basket nut and after one or two uses the tool looks like it is twenty years old and your arms get such a workout that you can skip the jim for two weeks, LOL.
Their clothes dryers are not much better, a WP built clothes dryer today has almost twice the serviceable life of anything GE or Frigidaire sells.

Our apartment was fitted with GE in mid 80s. The maint guy tells me parts are now so high that scrapping the entire unit is more practical than fixing it. He scraps stoves, fridges, and DWs monthly. It's intentional. And today's GEs definitely won't last as long as these did.
This guy is hilarious! I've been watching his videos for the last hour and I'm still entertained.
That little clip is interesting--shows the downfall of GE-yet a GE washer that is 20 yrs old may still be going strong!!
