I go to Hilo on Saturdays to go thrifting and get supplies and some produce.There is a farmer's market and health food store there as well as a grocery store.Last Saturday,I put my bike on the 5:30AM bus and got there around 7:30.I went to the local Pancake house for some coffee and a bagel with lox.I left and went to the farmer's market,Salvation Army,Sears,Home Depot,Smith's Appliance and went to a seasfood store to get some fresh steamed shrimp which I ate under the bridge to watch the tide go out and feed the ducks and fish bread.
I was minding my own business when I saw two boys paddlesurfing toward me.They asked if I did 420 and I said absolutely.They sat across from me and we had a true pow wow.They asked if I was there for the "Freedome Fest" and I asked them about it.It was all about local pot growers and the medicinal and/or religious use of Marijuana. I told them I would deffinately go but I wanted to pass the favor back and reached in my pocket getting my chamber pipe out to get even higher.We laughed and went together to see what was up.
There were hundreds of folks there. young and old smoking weed and eating hash brownies,hash cookies and cocktails with a bit of cannibus juice in them.Had a blast and was introduced to a pastor who annointed me and gave me a form that I cary in my wallett to keep the cops from arresting me for posession because of the religious use that the pastor past on to all who were willing. I also have a prescription card to legaly smoke pot I carry in my wallett for the same reason. I can carry no more that 3 ounces of weed legaly.I can smoke it without being horassed by any officer.If I get pulled over and they find I have weed on me,they can not arrest or prosecute me.I show them my card and prescription and it can't be used to arrest me or give me a ticket.Sorry folks. The mainland (not including California or Oregon)won't allow it.
