Looks like they partnered with Whirlpool for laundry and large capacity refrigerators. Perhaps these fridges are a result of that joint venture.

"Hisense refers" - what are you asking? references for Hisense? Or do you mean refrigerators?
Hisense is a common enough brand in Australia. Nothing outstanding, usually sells on low price / long warranty more than product merits IMHO.

<span style="font-family: helvetica;">A couple of summers ago our A/C went out. We knew it was going to be a couple of days before it was fixed so we picked up a Hisense Air Conditioner at Lowe's. It's one of those that rolls up to the window and you put the big hose in the window. It worked just fine for what we needed. It wasn't the quietest unit around but it was OK. It was all they had in stock of that style because I didn't want to have to install a big thing in the window for a couple of days and it was cheaper than a hotel for a few days.</span>
