That's an air-flow dryer, most likely electric. They look to be in nice shape cosmetically.
Not sure I would shell out that much until I know provenance and maintenance history.
Rollermatics are great fun to wash in and play with but finding parts is becoming quite a challenge these days.

I contacted them and offered less ($250.00- $300.00). They informed me there are two people they are dealing with competing for them and they don't want to take less than $350.00.
So, if you don't think their worth it and can advise me a fair offer, I would greatly appreciate it.

They are definitely worth the $350. They look mint and you will not find a good matched set in Turquoise, especially close by anymore.

I have this same set in white. The round timer indicator dials light up on both.

Washer is model WCD-65 and dryer is DCD-65.

Gee, I hope it doesn't turn into a bidding war.

What Is the Fuss About the Price?

$500 is the price of a lower-end laptop that will be obsolete in three years. These are dream machines - and I'm not a Frigidaire guy.

I would gladly pay $500 for a pair of Maytag 906s in restorable shape - and I don't exactly have money to burn. Yeah, if I could get 'em cheaper, that'd be nice. But some of this stuff doesn't grow on trees.

With appliances, it's often the price of shipping that kills deals... The price of appliances is also an issue to some of us (including myself). I think another issue for many of us is the lack of storage space (that also includes myself!)... Once the basement and/or the garage are full, it really becomes an issue! Then when you find something you like better than what you already have, you might need to give stuff away to make space for the new stuff! Sometimes, it's even hard to get rid of nice appliances that you give away (that's if you care that it goes into the hands of someone who'll take care of it, not to a scrapper!).

Question: POD 2/08/13 and these Frigidaires...

Curious; noticed the smaller knob under the large dial on both these machines and today's POD. Was the larger dial simply an indicator and the smaller one was actually the one to be turned to set the time, cycle, etc? And what was the small silver button beside the large dial? Always thought that in the pics I've seen of this vintage Frig. washers and dryers it looked a bit strange to have a knob below the "dash panel". Most years seemed to have rather clean, fairly symmetrical designs, so this vintage looks a bit off kilter to me. Still very nice machines; bet they performed well, and probably were dependable too.

Duane, the small silver button is a reset for the circuit breaker (motor protector). Frigidaire washers had this from the late 1940s to 1966.
