Brushes
Hello All
Effin feeeeezin down ere!......too nippy to be playing in the Garage
Well my diagnoses was long shot, but i have had brushes crack and do this also if they decide just to rattle a bit in the brush holder this can happen
Mikes right why have a chat with Mark.........
As regards the motor giving up all that will happen is the problem will get worse...and eventaully the motor waont turn....but it wont kill the motor
If it is brushes it is a very easy job to do, as you have replaced the motor you know how to remove it and this is all you need to do to change the brushes.
One other thought maybe JUST maybe the belt needs re tensioning....these can make a crunching sort of sound if they are a bit to slack.
Dont give up matey, nost of your problems have been made worse by your lack of experience with machines (and of course the other engineer buggering up the first motor), its no crime, we all have to start somewhere.
SO have a think dont panic it can be sorted.
Gary
Ps I had a little success this week at getting an old appliance into the kitchen.........weve had a Siemens Jug Kettle for about 5 years.......but it has packed up (HOORAH!).......not a bad life for a modern one i suppose.......my response was to nip up into the loft and drag out me old RUSSEL HOBBS automatic jobby..........yeaaaa......lovely lovely.......and so far it has been accepted into the kitchen with a few positive comments being made about it........ so yerr never that Bosch washing machine might die soon
Anyways speak soon
