HooverZanMiele, what's that Bosch in your pic? Looks like my WFT2800 (which has just blown its control board!) but with the word Logixx in place of the model number...

Oh YES!
Well done on getting one Hoovers best machines, I am pleased as punch you have one, Hoover put so much into the design of this machine.
Of the Two computer controlled Hoover machines I had, The 1300 computer logic and this one I prefer the this one every time.
There is one little feature you have not picked up on yet and that is that it was so ahead of it's time that does in fact have spin balance after the final rinse, it is not like a lot of modern machines which are so over sensitive (probably due to their puny bearings)they take ages to decide if the load is safe to spin.
The computer 1300 had the standard Logic vibration sensing switch on the tub which would slow down the final spin until the switch stropped making conduct, so in this respect 1300 was inferior, anyway enough of me waxing on.
I hope you enjoy this machine and if you ever want rid I would gladly give it a home.

I read something in the Hoover technical books, which said that some machines would increase spin speed to the point that the weighted microswitch (attached to the tub) would open. The speed would be held at that point.
Other machines (possibly the Computer Logic machines?) would oscillate between slightly decelerating when tub vibration was excessive and then speeding up again, decelerate, speed up, etc.

Have noticed sometimes when just on the final 1100 spin if the load is really un-balanced it will do like a "pulse" feature of ramping up 1100 rpm for say 15 seconds then back to distribution speed without re-balancing then straight back up 1100 rpm. Very strange but very effective.

The old (sensible) machines simply worked.
If you look at a modern machine the wrong way, it goes off in a huff.
