Great vacuum collections guys!!! Thanks for posting...I hope I eventually have more room for that (not to mention the washers...LOL)! And Tom, I like your arrangement of the DAMs and Constellations, very neat idea, and of course the Convertibles have to assume their well-deserved space on the floor! I would love to see a picture of the Convertible 704-01; that must be wild! Do any other VCCC members have one in their possession?
And I agree 100% with Jeff...perhaps we use this forum for WHAT IT WAS/IS INTENDED FOR!!! The Super forum is indeed for "other" stuff like vacuums, window units, toilet recommendations, ranges, jokes, etc. Even innuendos and Toggle humor are fun at times and give us a welcome break from the appliance world, but let's try to keep some decency around here as far as the "gross" factor is concerned, OK??? Yes, believe it or not, I DON'T want to hear about gerbils and Richard Gere or someone's s**tting habits, it DOES NOT BELONG HERE, SO QUIT HIJACKING EVERY SINGLE THREAD WITH IT!!!! Is it that damn difficult a rule to follow??? I really want to know...if it is for some of y'all, then allow me to use each of you as a test-rug for my Hoover 31. Maybe it will beat, sweep, and get your mind CLEAN.

Thanks Austin for the compliments...the DAMs take up much less floor space when hanging on the wall. They don't seem to mind! I agree with you Austin...lets clean up this thread and future threads...Jeff is right too...clean it up!

Did anyone find anything interesting this weekend??

I found a Hoover Hairdryer box model 8241 (the beehive model)...not the dryer but the box only during a town wide cleanup. It was out for trash and had some junk in it. I took the box (the price was right!) junk and all. I just missed a 75th anniversary Hoover Convertible in chrome too...it looked complete. I was happy with the box since I already had the dryer and I did not go home empty handed either.

I too would like to know if anyone has the Hoover Convertible 704-01 in their collection. That is a rare item!

a 704-01 but a 704 with the 704-01 handle. I showed Jeff a picture of it and he said that is what a 704-01 would look like it. I always have my eyes peeled for vacuums!

Some fun finds this past week, a Singer Silver Glide C-9!! Missing the carpet nozzle , duster and upholstery nozzle. The wands are unique in that they look like Eureka but with white button locks and each has a slot for the larger of the two buttons on each wand. Also found a Eureka canned ham, green with the Vibra Beat nozzle. Takes the L style bags.
