I used Mikes do as an opportunity to unveil the 3236H, now that pretty much all the stuff has been sorted out with it.

Was also nice to be able to thank 4 people directly involved in its preservation : namely Seamus, Matt, Gary and Mathew. Cheers guys....

Thank you very much for the pictures, especially of the new wave - matchboxpaul

wow, seems like it is a really good machine and in mint condition.

If you do have any vids if the newwave, please can you post them on youtube.

Love the pics

Thanks

Plumbed in and works OK, but will blow the motor out at the next opportunity, as years of dust and rubbish has accumulated in there...

See piccy above.

Richard , Gary and Jon observe the 3236H, whilst Matt and Seamus put a load or two through the T5054 Hoovermatic de luxe.

Fantastic, hope all had lots of fun.

I had a Hoover 4805 Auto-Jet dishwasher for many years, the dreaded rust finished it off, there was some much patching up you could not tell what was the original sump or liquid metal filler. It used to literally boil wash the dishes, great clouds of steam come out of the air vent in the front.

Wash In

Gary - Yes the Lady of the Pulsator will have pride of place dont worry!!!...LOL

PaulC - yes, do give us a ring when you are next down & bring the laundry!!!

Robbie, send me your email as I sent one to your AW profile and I know John from Brum did last time, not that far away on the train etc.

Jon glad you enjoyed yourself!! everytime I looked around you where glued to the machines, and it was great you brought your laundry to do as well!!! wont mention the sudzlock...well go on then!!! it wasnt your fault at all, that Tesco Handwash & twinny is the worst of any i`ve tried for sudzing!!! get yourself a twinny and use automatic powder!!

Bertrum, the cabinet is superb, the console will take some detailed work, its the usual Hoover bronze bezel syndrome, it easily rubs off!!!Its a fab machine though, have you worked on one?? will do a seperate thread on the restore...

Wash-In

Thanks guys for all the messages, always great to meet up and see new faces as well!!! the weekends go so quickly with all the fun, food & repairs!!! heres to the next time!!!

MickeyD, get that ticket now, you`d love all the comeraderie, twinnys & high tea!!! wait till you see what happened with the dishwasher!!!

Ross, good to hear from you, that keymatic is similar to the westy, plenty of action and sudz drama!!!and of course it can take all types of powders!!! even the high sudz foca!!!

Greg, fab machine, videos on their way, the pulsator spin sslightly slower than the twintubs but just enough to almost roll the clothes around the drum from front to back , almost like a figure of 8 motion...and none of this balancing, straight into spin!!!

Heres The Fill Line!!
