Had a mini meet in Crewe at Robs place to sort out a working 1800 series washer & dryer for use as his daily drivers - along with parting out washers & dryers and bearings changes on others, the weather was great and joined by Liam, Jon, Mathew, Chris and hosts Rob & Paul....not forgetting the old master Harry, Mathews dog..

heres the work programme!!

It would not have worked right if you did not have some parts left over.
Great work, Oops washing up liquid, I repaired a dishwasher some time ago and used some to help refit the sump hose with the same results.

I think Mike

is making a little jibe at Rob's dosing in the test wash.

Yes with all thoses M8 nuts and bolts left, I'm now doubting myself, whats holding the motor in place lol?

Mike, I love that photo of me and Jon sat facing away from the garden looking at washers on the test run. Can just see harry engrossed between us.

Mathew

yes another Fab weekend of repairs. Mum is very appreciative although she still has the Zanussi installed while she has the new kitchen fitted.

Big thanks to Mathew and Harry for the jobs done, Mike for the soup, and Jon, Liam, Chris for being perfect guests.

If there was ever an advert for liquid/low temp washing abuse this must be it. Sheer proof, get that dial to 85*! I just hope Mum wont go back to her old ways now its been rectified.

LOL

Excellent!

A Great Thread! - Does anyone think that the 18 & 95 Series Washers are better than the WM64 Washer We Had, or are they both the same? I recently Got an Indesit WIA111 Washer to clean up and sell on, but that is not near as good as our WM64 Was.
