everythings finished, i need to stop a leak at the bottom of the tub seal but that wont be a problem with bathroom sealant, and then i will upload the pics to the thread of the stages, the video link to the first run and how i did it when i have finished completely.

Now the machine is all back together, here are some photos.

i accidentally snapped a little bit of the plastic off when i first got the machine.

cracked sidestrip

when i got this machine from the junk yard, one of the sidestrips on the lid had cracked, and snapped completely when i caught it on my jumper. it does stay on though so its not too much of a problem.

its even got the guarantee sticker!

20 odd years down the line and the sticker is still intact, amazing!
oh and also i have had to put some bathroom sealant on the bottom of the tub seal as it leaked when i tested it after i had put it back together. thanks for looking!

6+Economy = Quick wash

Yes, the red one's do correspond to the Option buttons - Prog 6 is a 40C cycle, however selecting Half load, the machine activates the Quick wash, no heat cycle.
The Pre-wash is just red for some reason, the only reason I can think of is it is to warn you it's not a complete wash cycle, or it was in place for machines with Auto Pre-wash option?

On My WM31 the Fabric softener compartment is flimsy too, but they all are, it's just the way they were designed.

It does Look like the door glass has been changed from the Bowl to the Aquarius model door glasses. I also think it has the wrong drum? This one is 5KG, 50l, the one which may have came with the machine is a 46l one, no holes in the paddle - larger rim next to the rubber. Still at least with this one you will get slightly more power due to the holes in the paddles, there is better showering of the load.

Excellent result George though, bet you are really happy. Looks immaculate, and I hope your sealant works.
