help in a roundabout way.....!

the aqualtis continues to run well, but if i leave the machine for about a day, the drum fills with water for no reason, even when it is turned off

i have noticed it two or three times now, on one occasion the water was a little "greasy"

the drain pipe is connected to a trap on my sink outlet, so i thought water could be flowing down this pipe and into the machine? i thought this was a little unlikely though, as it would have to force its way throught the pipe and then through the pump and into the drum.... plus i really only put water from cooking down the sink as everything goes in the dishwasher....
any ideas would be appreciated...

I think the more common problem for that is a leaky water inlet valve... :-(. If the water has been left to fester for a few hours it can go a bit yukky and mildewy.

This is quite common on Indesit made machines i've had it myself on a w103. The cold fill valve occasionally decided to slowley fill the machine with water, but there was no pattern to it. It is possible its coming down the drain pipe as there is nothing to stop it and once it gets going it sucks water through the pump but the only way to check is put the drian pipe over the sink and then wait n see it it still fills with water.

ignore last two....

sorry about that.. i put the video link in the picture box!!
anyway, here is the 60*c white cycle filling up and tumbling

OMG Chris!!!! thats crazy

How long does it distribute like that for?
Is that the standard height for the water level on the wash?
Does it do that just on the High Intensity setting?

LOL sorry bout all the questions, cant wait for the next vid!

hey... when the high wash intensity is selected it tumbles like that for the whole cycle, and it seems to do an excellent job - i think this was the programme that got it its A wash rating
the water level varies with the load, so it is never the same twice, the video showed a fairly normal level for a full 7.5kg wash

not sure what else to film.... what would you like to see??

final spin film

start of final spin, as the machine ramps up to 1200 rpm... as the machine is quiet you cant really hear the motor at all
