Hello fellow washer people i've posted here a few times under the name of kenmore80 but anyways my Hotpoint washer that i have which is a early or mid 90's the model number is WLW1500BBLAD the problem is that the last few days i noticed that water has been leaking and today i found out where it is coming from at first i thought it was the water inlet valve but here it's coming from the rubber hose part where it's connected to the plastic piece where the water comes in and it's leaking from around the hose and where it connects too and water is leaking all over the floor from that SO i would appreciate if anyone can help me to fix my problem i took it apart and tightened it back up and it still leaked.

Put some blue RTV silicone (you can find it at any auto parts store) around the origin of the leak, wait 24 hours, and see if that helps. If not, you may have to replace the hose, which isn't that difficult either.
