Cool 1970 House

The TD DW is the real deal, I have one at the museum but have never used it yet, the design looks like it should work.

The WH ref was a troublesome design, and if it has been in continuous use it will likely either already have or likely soon have problems, also these always seemed to have problems with freezing stuff in the FF section and not being able to keep ice cream hard in the freezer.

Th TD wall ovens are are likely the best of the major appliances, except for the cool KM dryer [ there is no matching washer for that dryer ].

Getting back to this a little late, but..

Sambootoo just for you attached are photos of the Fedders air handler and outside compressor unit. I'm surprised the reflective logos still stick.

combo52: No matching washer!? How very sad...and strange. I wonder why? I am inclined to beleive this, though since I have never seen a matching one either.

Those dividers are also great for serving trays so even if you're Mrs. E. Wirthington Twirthington and don't bake, it's possible to have a use for them.

Love the vintage look! Whoever had this place all these years did a fine job of keeping it in tip-top shape. Hope you enjoy your new digs!
