While browsing in a London department store I came across this:

It's a variation of the Kenwood Major that has an induction heating element, so you can beat/mix AND cook simultaneously.

Sufficiently expensive that I doubt I'll ever own one but fun to look at

Oh, it's wonderful! It's been in the shops since early 2010-late 2009!
If I had a spare change of 1200 € I'd buy one in a hurry!
