How Long Does This Washer Have To Live??

Hi Guys

SO i am housesitting my friends house and she has a front loader Whirlpool AWM8143 1400spin 6kg washer. This machine sounds TERRIBLE, definitely motor/bearing issues going on, plus its not on a level floor since the house is so old.
I made a video of it as i do with every washer i look after and the link is below.
What do u guys think? Do i say to her 'hey, yours washers pretty screwed' or 'hey, a repairman could probably fix that at a fairly low cost'. In other words, is it too far gone to be saved and should be replaced.

Is there any play in the drum if you try to push up on the drum.

it sounds as though the drum bearings and motor bearings are worn.

Drum bearings are usually difficult to replace on modern machines.
