OK, my only question is: why in the hell would you WANT to clean under your hardwood, tile or carpeted floors?

(I can't get the website to come up here at work, it's blocked for some reason).

Me thinking someone is a little OCD.

I have cleaned under area rugs, I have cleaned under carpet when it is being replaced, but as a standard procedure; I don't worry what's under it unless something like water damage has occurred.

Thats like

the old store phone call pranks. "Do you have pigs feet?" Yes, of course. "Then wear high button shoes, and no one will know.
Do you have Prince Albert in a can? "Yes." Better let him out.
Is your refrigerator running? Better go catch it.

after changing the carpeting out in one part of the house, and getting a Kirby vaccum for the rest, there *might* be something to cleaning under the carpet. When we pulled the carpet up, there was at least a 1/4 cup of sand in a thin layer over the entire area. I've had the Kirby for about two months, I've had change the bad twice so far.

Dear Reader,

If you’re going to clean, you might as well clean everything. But fortunately for you, cleaning under the floors is incredibly easy. Here’s how you do it:

Tear up all the floorboards. Make sure you don’t damage them, though, because you are going to want to replace them later.
Get in there with a vacuum and a heavy duty sponge. There will probably be all kinds of stuff under the floorboards: dust, grime, even actual dirt! Bet you’re glad you’re getting rid of it all now.
Get a jackhammer and break through to the next level, whatever that is.
Don’t stop until all the dirt is gone, no matter how far you have to dig.

Hope that helps!
