Does anyone know how to increase the water level on the whirlpool duet? The YouTube videos I’ve seen show how to do this on older models but mine doesn’t seem to have this regulator. Please advise

Water pressure switch

I believe is an oblong shaped unit and will have a plug with about 4 wires and a small tube connected on one end if you can locate that you should be able to up the water level by turning the small set screws in the switch.
A picture of the switch when you find it would help :)

What model Duet do you have and what cycle do you normally use that's causing you to complain about lack of water?  I bought my Duet November 2011 and I have no complaints whatsoever.  But then again, I DO NOT USE the Normal/Casual cycle unless it's a small load.  That's the cycle based upon the energy star certification and it uses "precipitous" amounts of water.

Exactly.  I played with the water level  on one of my Duets and found it made little if any difference.  In fact too much water hampered the wash action.  Both my duets use the standard water settings and work VERY well - just avoid the Normal cycle.  Quick wash uses a bit more water and you can extend the wash cycle to about the same as the normal cycle.

Water level

Yours is like mine. You can’t change it.
I actually am ok with the water level a majority of the time. I use Whitest Whites the most though. I do wish Normal used a bit more, especially during the rinse. Quick Wash is ok, but it alters the drum rhythm with a bigger load and an extra rinse is required for decent rinsing. Bulky uses too much water for the normal tumble speed, and performs very slow interim spins that leads to poor rinsing. The Whitest Whites cycle is the best combo of everything, but is more aggressive than a majority of loads require.
