All one has to do is look at the pics on the yellow Super Forum area to see what general topics are discussed. Detergents, small appliances, and appliances other than washers or dishwashers are viable topics. We have also enjoyed chats on jukeboxes, cars, electronics, etc. I don't see any problem discussing "household" topics either; recipes, alternative energy, appliance manufacturer news, etc. If the Super Forum is to be continued, these general topics as well as pic threads don't seem unreasonable. I doubt that there would be an Orwellian Forum Chief that would have you picked up for posting about hair dye, but I digress <br
What I have grown weary of is the need for some to post uber bizarre, controversial, and/or inflammatory topics that have nothing to do with anything that holds this common interest group together; appliances. If I want social, religious, or political commentary, I'll get on a blog, grab a newspaper, or watch the news. Most of us have dealt with office chaos all day long, put up with traffic jams, heard the latest tragedy story on the news, and would, frankly, like a little escape to something more pleasurable. This place gives us the outlet most need to "chill" for a while. I'm sure there are more "liberating" forums out there just waiting to be clicked on <br
Contrary to what some believe, this is a group of friends that share a wonderful interest/hobby; not a "clique". There are some who have never met, yet share the bond of friendship. For many who have been able to meet, the friendship is instant and the conversation never lacking. If you can't get along with this terrific group...let me put it in simple terms <br

To keep this site running like a well-oiled machine, there just needs to be a little common sense and respect among the members.
