It previously said:
"Shortly after the very first completely automatic clothes washer was developed by General Electric in 1947, the same company also invented the first washer dryer combination unit in 1954.[1]"
Their source of Washing-machine-wizard.com states as such, but anyone here knows that both statements are false.
I changed it to say:
"Shortly after the very first completely automatic clothes washer was developed by Bendix Home Appliances in 1937[1], the same company also invented the first washer dryer combination unit in 1953[2]."
I cited two things on Google Books, whether this is allowed I don't know, but I just could not let that false statement stay.
