I fixed Wikipedia's article on Combo Units

It previously said:

"Shortly after the very first completely automatic clothes washer was developed by General Electric in 1947, the same company also invented the first washer dryer combination unit in 1954.[1]"

Their source of Washing-machine-wizard.com states as such, but anyone here knows that both statements are false.

I changed it to say:

"Shortly after the very first completely automatic clothes washer was developed by Bendix Home Appliances in 1937[1], the same company also invented the first washer dryer combination unit in 1953[2]."

I cited two things on Google Books, whether this is allowed I don't know, but I just could not let that false statement stay.

Another minor correction

I changed the article on washing machines from saying that Bendix Corporation invented the automatic to saying that "Bendix Home Appliances, an otherwise unrelated company, who licensed the name from Bendix Corporation, invented the automatic..."

That page is incomplete, it misses the H-axis topload washer/dryer combo's. Here are a few examples.

Thank you for the correction. Actually Bendix was owned by AVCO, Aviation Corporation, which bought Bendix to have access to Bendix radio technology and the patents belonged to AVCO.
