Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers for me after being laid off of my bartending job. I received a call from the Moose Lodge in the next town (Olympia) and was asked to be the bar MANAGER there! It's about the same job I had at the other Lodge, but, I am tickled. They Called ME!! I had my training day today, and have a bunch of work to do there. The bar is pretty dirty, and not set up very user friendly. So I will be SLOWLY making some changes to the set up, and doing some heavy duty cleaning. Thank you all for listening to me and wishing me well. God has blessed me once again. Thanks!!!!!!!!!!!

If anything, you are "BLESSED" in case you did not know! one door closes and a better one opens up...

maybe you should do some photos of before and after cleanup...you definately need a dishwasher to clean all those glasses...lol

BEST OF LUCK!

Congratulations!

I well know the position you were in. I lost my post about a month ago. State budget cuts and more to come I hear. I hope this works out well for you.

Congrats, and welcome back to the rat race.

Lawrence: "I hope this job is everything you want."

For me, that would entail the following: $99,000 a year to do absolutely nothing, LOL!

Given my strict (lack of) work requirement, you'll notice I was not greedy and kept my salary under six figures.

Frigilux--with your requirements, you should be pulling down a salary of at least six figures, if not seven. To do absolutely nothing sounds like a top level management type job!

I have a full time job presently but a friend recently completed a bartending class and loves his job. I was wondering if it may be worth it just to do part time?

congraulations

I am very happy for you. I hope that my mate finds a job soon he has been without one for a while. So we know how it is.good luck.
