Getting off-track to non-appliance dreams ...
----------------------------------------------------------
Granny was standing at the door with it partially open, looking out. Suddenly she screamed and ran away.

Did granny sense you'd get hell from the outside world for being different? She could no longer protect your from the approaching evil.

-----------------------------------------------------------
Two hoodlums burst into the room. One had a gun. I was sitting on the floor. He sat down in front of me, pointed the gun at me for a few moment ...

Society and the outside world came into your world, and threatened you, harassed you, tormented you.
-----------------------------------------------------------
Then gave the gun to me. So I'm sitting there holding this gun, wondering WTH? The two hoodlums run out.

After sufficient time, you internalized their thougths/feelings about you, and did it to yourself. You could have put the gun down
------------------------------------------------------------

A different guy comes in, also with a gun. We're sitting there pointing guns at (each) other, then ..... nothing.

We can all judge others. Perhaps you have made peace with society and the evil that exists towards you and chose not to act upon it; Neither giving nor receiving a "bullet"

Appliance-related dreams

Glenn, the gun story is too funny!!!

I've had quite a few appliance-related dreams, or dreams where one of the members plays an "ordinary" non-appliance-related role...strange.

One of the most recent (which happened around the time I got the AMP) was when I somehow came upon a 1950's Apex Wash-A-Matic, with the raised control panel (just like the one Robert had). I remember going absolutely insane over seeing it. So needless to say I hauled it home and proceeded to give it a going-over. I put a new water valve on but I don't think I ever fired it up. I ended up taking a few pictures and listing it on eBay if you can believe that. When I woke up, it was still $9.99 and Unimatic1140 had placed a bid...

The second one was a large, old (and haunted as I remember seeing "dark things" there) department store that went out of business a long time ago and was getting rid of its inventory in an auction. I remember checking the place out and as usual, making a beeline for the vacuum section. What I saw amazed me. Machines from the 1940's through the 1980's (why there's a huge time span is still a mystery), mostly Hoovers, in their original boxes still sitting on the shelves!!!! There had been large lumber carts that everyone took at the enterance, and I remember loading up a few NIB Hoover Celebrity IV Elites (boxes showed a power nozzle as well) before I woke up...

Probably the ABSOLUTE BEST appliance dream I had was in 9th grade. I "materialized" in a large store that seemed to carry just about everything, as I remember seeing fabric rolls in addition to what comes next. I took a few steps and BOOM, there it was. Literally HUNDREDS of MINT vintage vacuums and housewares covering the shelves. I most vividly remember the Hoover Constellations with their original attachment kits waiting to be taken. What was also interesting is that there was some type of stainless-steel double-loader below the fabric samples. It was actually hooked up for use. Looking back on it, I somehow went back into the 60's as I did hear The Supremes playing in the background...LOL.

I did dream one time....

.....that I ate a G I A N T marshmallow.....and when I woke up, I never did find my pillow! Mark

Analyze this, analyze that

Glenn- When they come to take you away, tell them there is another one "down the road" who probably needs help too. :D

Austin-the first story had me LOL.

Honestly, I have never dreamt of anyone from here or anything to do with washing machines, etc...after reading all this....AND veg's personal theory of my dream, I am afraid to go to sleep tonight. LoL

No telling what I will dream of next. But I won't post it here...LOL LOL

Well, it looks like it's my turn.

Not a wash-in dream, but it involved members of the club.

Seems that Robert was our supervisor at work (though the office looked exactly like a classroom.) He got a call at his desk and announced to us that unless he earned more "points", he was going to be fired in 15 minutes. This shocked all of us into action. I went to the copier with some little form for us all to fill out to try to get him some more points, but my copies got interfiled with someone else's, so it took a while to get them separated.

By the time I got back to the office/classroom, the Guy From Corporate had already shown up. Even though he looked like a total b@stard, he was really a nice guy and managed to add the necessary points to Robert's record.

Sighs of relief all around. We sent Robert a bouquet of roses "From your Loving Staff."

In celebration, we all went out to a bar, where Robert got charmingly tipsy. Tom Deeptub and I got hilariously drunk while Greg took pictures or video for future blackmailing. Steve Mayken4now was the only one of us who could hold his liquor.

It's interesting that veg had this dream, because getting hilariously drunk is supposedly one of my little-seen specialties. I am assured that when it happens, it's spectacular.

Tom be careful around the all mighty veg OH matic!

He may analyze your dream...LOL

And you don't EVEN WANT TO HEAR what mine was.

veg: notice...WAS ;-)

chachp, Yes I've been to one. They are ALL wild parties, so I hear. This dream one was just tame compared to the ones I hear about. LOL j/k!
