I have some disposer's for sale rare ones.
I have a 1986 Maytag New in box Batch feed disposer or if you want I can switch it to continuous feed.Maytag made the best
disposer's you could get at one time. The disposer is a 1/2 H.P. like all Maytags it has a HUGE cast shredder ring and the swivel
impellers are on bearings and float above the flywheel. There are under-cuters that shear under the flywheel and it tells you
that grinding Corn-husks,Artichokes,etc will not be a problem. The grind chamber is steel with rubber sandwiched between the inner and outer this makes it very quite. They would demo these with roofing nails back in the day.I am asking 300$ for it
I also have a 1986 Wasteking SS5000 this on is a new in box it is a 3/4 H.P. Wasteking the old ones are great this disposer has
a cast grind ring with a center ripper blade. This one like the Maytag has two under-cutters under the flywheel.
The instructions on these tell you that it can grind paper towels, cigarette butts,corn-husks,bones any food that will fit through the hole is not a problem.I am asking 150 bucks for it.
I have a 1.H.P. Kitchenaid Superba it is the new version identical to the I.S.E. Excel Evolution. This disposer has under-cutters and
a Jam-Sensor Circuit that kicks in and reverse and reverse again if the load is heavy. If it jams the disposer will hammer through the jam. This is 350 bucks at the store.I got it because it was a display and I did not have one of those new Evolution model's.
This one and the I.S.E. excel are the only ones that have fixed and swivel impellers and also the under-cutter's which make a huge
difference.I don't have the box or anything to this one sense it was a display.I tested it and it works just fine.
I am asking 125$ for it and I will pay for the shipping as long as it's in the lower 48 states. Here is a pic of the K-AID
