Boy; that looks like a fun machine to use, Steve! It should clean up nicely.
Oh boy ... lots of Clorox, huh? Maybe a little Lysol for good measure?
Do you think you can find a hose at the hardware store for that? Hopefully, it won't be too hard to replace.
Can't wait to see the photos!

Nice one Steve, what a find, looks in fine nic underneath as well, wild colour, should polish up well, whats the spin speed on these??
That pulsator looks like the same one in the kenmore portable, is that right???,

It was hidden under a mend of these materials.

Rubber disk
Hi Toggles, congratulations on your beautiful find! Did you also find the rubber disk that holds clothes down in place in the spinner? A long time ago my mother had a Hoover twintub and the instruction manual warned about always using the rubber disk in the spinner, to avoid clothes flying-off the basket. I guess that is what might have happened with the clothes that can be seen in the picture that fell off the basket.

Funny you should ask.
I had one from my Paksitani-made spinner that I just left hanging on a nail on the wall; a remnant of when the spinner went into a self-destruct mission to become a martyr for "the cause".
Threw it out when moving........... :-(

If you have no disk at hand then you might want to adopt the procedure of always loading small items first into the spinner, crowned by larger items on top. The larger items will keep small items from flying off the spinner.

Had to clean the inlet screen of the solenoid valve. Then the machine filled at a decently fast rate.
At first the valve leaked even when off. It must have overhead me say it was going ot get surgically excised and disposed of once replaced. Five ninutes later it was water-tight and no longer leaking.
