Hello Automaticwasher, I'm looking for parts I may need but I need to identify what sort of machine I'm looking at. All I know it's it's a Kenmore belt drive, tub spins during agitation, appears to work fine otherwise. Will provide images. Model number sticker is gone to high heaven unfortunately.

That is a 1980 model. If it is in its original configuration (meaning a rebuilder did not graft other parts on or use the control panel on another model), the machine should be a standard capacity model with a gold straight vane agitator.

The model number would be 110.82015100

This was the least expensive full size kenmore washer of the 1980 line. “One knob wonders” like these always fascinate me. There was a large capacity model with similar features and appearance, however it had a perm press cycle as well.

Believe it or not the washer pictured here is one of a few left on my wish list that I would like to find.

Gordon, you're actually spot on. I finally did see the model tag and rubbed it over with a magic marker and revealed the exact model number you listed. It's got the same agitator you described as well. This particular one has been sitting outside in the sun and rain and hail since 1997 when it was replaced with a Direct Drive Kenmore. I plan on retrobriting the plastic and fixing whatever mechanical issues it has. If you're ever in the Toyah, TX area, do drop in and I'd love to either trade it or sell it. Thanks for the info!

>> Problem may be a broken pin on the spin wigwag plunger

I'm willing to bet that 95% of the population would think you were just making up nonsense technical words to scam them, if you informed them that this was the problem with their machine.
:-D

"Oh yeah, the problem was a broken pin... on the spin... uh... the spin wigwag... plunger.
Yeah... that's going to cost you like 400 bucks to fix ma'am....
sorry for the bad news, I have a spare pin on the truck though."
