Kick it

Hopefully, ya don't kick it too hard, you might break something. My in-laws refrigerator is like that. It keeps clicking & won't start. My father in law disconnects the fan, blows a room fan into it & it starts up again. Go figure.

The Maytag washer probably has a sticky glide plate. Kicking the motor may couse it to bounce back putting the needed tension on the belts to run. The refrig with the clicking probably has a bad condenser fan or may just need the condenser coils cleaned out.

Loretta Ha! My Maytag got to where it just wasn`t spinning the water out of my clothes so i put on a new belt thinking that would do it, but it still wouldn`t get up to speed. I could pull on the motor slightly and it was fine so I put a little extra tension on the springs and now my wash is whiter and brighter and no kicking!
