Wow.

That was a "Blast from the Past". Boy, those sure were the days. If you got in trouble with the neighbor's kid's, not only did the neighbor slap you around you got it again from your parents.I do remember just going to the neighbor's house and just walking in like it was your house too and vice versa.Great TV,Cars, and APPLIANCES MADE OUT OF STEEL.When manufactures took pride in what they were building. You know when you think about it not too much is made here in the states.

Glad I grew up during these years. It truly was a wonderful time. It seems like we were always getting something new for the house. Color tv's, stereos, appliances, cars, bikes and great new toys at Christmas, electric trains, racing sets, erector sets. It all just seemed to be new and exciting then, not like today. We did all watch the same programs and movies cause thats all there was. Probably why I am a memeber of this site, it gives me memories of the way it used to be.
