I have a Asko 11004 here, that just steals space. You can get it really cheap

Do you mean a top-loading horizontal-axis machine?

To us the Euro-std. of 60cm x 60cm is a bit smaller than what we are accustomed to.

I like compact washing machines and I like the pic of the Electroux too. I wish I could have a compact machine but no can do I'm afraid! But eventually I should have 1 of my own, If only the dream could come true lol!

I was working at a motel and this washer was in the kitchen for tea towles and we have a ge toploader for the sheets and towles that come out of the rooms
