it is kind of fun to hang clothes out when you get the chance....

Are you vacationing in sunny FL? What area? What kind of washer are you using?
I did something green yesterday. I saved the 4 gallons of wash water with STPP from the Miele and maybe double that amount from the first rinse and mixed them after the wash water cooled then poured the water on two Crepe Myrtle plants that could use a phosphorous boost to produce more flowers. I thought it would keep a couple of tablespoons of phosphate out of the sewer water and possibly benefit the plants. I had been watching footage of the algal bloom in Lake Erie and figured repurposing the wash water was cheaper than buying the triple phosphate I usually buy to put on some plants to encourage lots of flowers.

and at last check, I think SQ used the name Eversmooth for the transmission. Per their FB page, they don't have a name for it currently but I do believe it SHOULD have a name.

My experience living in Florida was that nothing ever got dry by itself. It either went in the dryer or stayed wet.
Thats the problem with generally the East Coast-high humidity won't allow things line dried to be completely "dry"Clotheslines worked best if you lived in the West areas of the country!So--if I want dry clothes--have to use the dryer--don't want to give my birds diarrhea!And the squirrels for that matter,too.

I love hanging out our wash! Being the devoted Gain ( original ) user I am, the aroma my laundry has, especially when line dried,lingers and I always get questioned on what cologne I have on. I truthfully tell them, Gain. They laugh either from surprise or embarassment from asking such a question. I tell them how long it'sbeen since I started using Gain and how great it's been since I used my first box.
