Well ... that was a WONDERFUL time on Saturday; thanks again, Don!!

Don, Scott and Miss Ellie are extremely gracious hosts; always making someone feel very welcome, indeed. PLUS we had a wonderful "fall" luncheon (because of the weather) that we enjoyed on vintage Bob-White patterned Red Wing dishes; how fun!!
As far as the Supremes go, I think Don is better suited to be a member. I think he could stand in stiletto pumps longer than I could!!

Can you imagine what the dressing room was like after they finished getting ready? With all the back combing and Aqua Net in the air, one wouldn't dare light a match ... BOOM!
I am also so glad that Don really likes his Model A from January 1933; it's good to see another collector enjoy a machine like that ... imagine, 75 years old and still running solidly!! What's fortunate is that Don got one that was in pretty good condition mechanically. Replacing parts and gaskets can be difficult; most of it is no longer available.
Enjoy your Maytag, Don! Don't forget ... no more heavy loads in her; we wouldn't want a spring in the wringer head to break!! Oh ... don't forget to use your pickle bucket!!
