Here's my Model A; many of you have seen this lots of times before. Don Shier's is so much more shiny and his aluminum crown is GORGEOUS!

Makes me want to have mine re-done ... hmmm ...

Don ... WHAT?? Not like the ones we do??? Stop it; that's a really nice machine! I think it looks WONDERFUL!!

How in the world did you get the interior of the tub and the agitator looking so brand new? Did you use sandpaper (different grits) and buff it out?

Did you put a 3-prong cord on her? It is SO much safer than the 2-prong that originally came with them. I'm surprised women didn't get shocked (maybe they did and I just don't know).

It sure looks good; those rollers are really open, aren't they? I bet you watch your fingers pretty closely when using it! I like the feed plate they made for the A.

I think the A came right after the 90, right?

Do you use your machine regularly?

Andy ... is that a Model 31? It has a different base underneath the machine; I think it was made right after Don Shier's and mine.

Just think, guys ... we've got a FANTASTIC representation of Maytag's early machines!! First Don's, then Don Shier's and mine, and then Andy's.

How many people can boast that??

:-)

Don, wow the Maytag came back just beautiful from the painters! How cool, I bet it had that "new washer" smell from the new paint.
