Indesit Company: Indesit Company Eyes Potential Partners?
Indesit Company NewsNews has begun to circulate of a possible merger or partnership between various manufacturers and the Indesit Company who own the Hotpoint, Indesit and Ariston brands among others sold in the UK.
The reports filed with various Italian online news sources seem to indicate several potential partners.
In the frame we have so far been led to believe that BSH Group (Bosch, Siemens & Neff) are interested as are KOC Holdings, who one the Beko brand in the UK.
Whilst for the moment this remains a confirmed rumour the fact that it is rumoured at all indicates that there has been some talk of a possible merger. No doubt this is spurred on by the current global economic climate.
Of course recently Antonio Merloni, another Italian appliance producer, entered administration, who also traded in many of the same price point areas as the Indesit Company, so it is not entirely inconceivable that there may be some financial reason for these rumours coming to light. It is also well known that many companies that only six months ago were thought to be too big and unassailable to ever have financial woes are no longer with us.
We will of course watch this story unfold with interest and update as we get more information.
