Can anybody out there tell me the differences, if any, between the power outputs and cooking times of induction hobs in the US and Europe?

I would image only table-top portable units, or a two-hob specialty unit would be used on 110v here.

From what I have seen, any 4-hob (or larger) unit woould use 220v.

Useless tid-bit:

An interesting convention has arisen such that:

Induction elements tend to be delineated with a SQUARE graphic/outline.
Regular heated/radiant elements tend to be dleieted by a ROUND graphic/outline.

Coolest thing is to see both kinds on a hoity-toity cooker!
