I was really hoping I could get some information on my washing machine
I would like to know if my washer is DD?
What year it is?
And if it is reliable?
I will post some pictures for you all. This washer was a gift

Yes, it's a direct drive. Made by Whirlpool in their Clyde, OH plant. Glenn (Dadoes) should be able to tell you when it was made, based on ser.#. They are good machines.

Congrats on receiving a great washer. It was built the 26th week of 1994 according to the serial number. Even has the separate speed selector. In my opinion a great machine all around.

3-speed motor is also a plus.

Best not to be washing everything in cold water ... promotes smutz accumulation in the machine.

Dryer was built August 1994. Nothing special but it will get the job done.
