"The Safari upload file bug STILL has not been fixed as of yet and Apple has completely screwed up an attempted update today..."
Is it just me, or is Apple starting to get pumped out of the washer? (Instead of "down the toilet")
Considering, as mentioned above, that Apple ALWAYS criticised everyone else for 'stealing their design,' and 'being buggy, unstable and insecure,' I find this a lovely little bit of payback for them. For the rest of us, its just annoying.
I was very happy with my Macbook Pro until last year, when the trackpad stopped fully depressing to click (a widely reported problem), and the 'T" key started popping off frequently. As of yet, I haven't bothered to fix either, largely because the former issue seems intermittent, at best...
Mac OS "Mavericks" was also a FLOP for my Macbook. Its a Late-2011 model, bought in Late-2011. Mavericks proceeded to completely hog my memory, even after I upgraded to 8GB (and even after several MAJOR updates). The machine was slow, unresponsive even for the most mediocre tasks. "App Cache" is a complete joke - While I was using 8GB, all the memory compression and swapping taking place represents a huge slowdown that takes place.
I downgraded to Mountain Lion, which is almost unsupported. I now have the spirited performance of before, without all my 8GB of memory being used up, continuously, whether all my programs are open or not. And I won't be upgrading to their new OS whenever that is released. I deplore the move to unify iOS and Mac OS. I want an interface that works, not one that just looks good (Yes, I'm also talking to YOU Windows 8!)
In summary, I won't be buying more Apple products. I used to like their stuff, but the gouging and slow removal of features (DVD drives, Ethernet, Firewire) is making it less worthwhile to buy products that still cost JUST as much as before these features were removed.

There, thats better
