Ironrite Repair Manuel Model 75

I have a desperate plea to all ... My Ironrite Model 75 decided it was not going to turn anymore .. the motor runs I see the gears run but nothing. I have fallen in love so much with this machine that I am going thru the DT's right now

"Ironrite" from Las Vegas and I have been talking, but I would like to see if anybody else might have a repair manuel or the experience working with these wonderful ironers of the 40's

Only person I know of that still works on ironers, is Mike Arnold of Monitor Top Appliances in upstate New York. He is a club member, but you can find him via his website.

If the motor and gears are both working, there must be something either engaging the brake, or somehow the connection between the controls and brake may be loose/broken. Does the plate engage and release when the controls are operated?
