LMAO!

I've heard of this before.

I would love to have a can of this just for display. Will have to go looking around. I was happy to finally find some Scrapple, and had some this morning. Don't ask, don't tell...people down here in the South have no idea what it is, but I got into it while living in Maryland. I think it's more a "northern" thang.

Years ago I collected various old original fruit & vegetable (crate)labels. My favorite was the "Gay Cock". Very colorful label, but can't remember what veggie or fruit it was for.

Warm cake, nuts, hot creamy white sauce??? roflmaotipmp
Im dying here!

Best Source Of Spotted Dick

Myers of Keswick
634 Hudson St. (betw. Horatio & Jane Sts.)
691-4194

Thick, Tasty, Moist Dick. Perhaps you have an unrequited hankering for bangers, pasties, cock-a-leekie or full monty. Or maybe you just want to clean up with some Fairy liquid. Or you’re fresh out of Gripe Water. Or maybe you’re a homesick expat Brit who’s overwhelmed by the fresh, good food of the New World and needs a fix of canned "mushy peas," kippers or porridge. Myers of Keswick can fulfill your needs. Even All-American shoppers will appreciate this spot, as some unusual jams, like damson, strawberry little scarlet conserve, and ginger preserves, as well as a good assortment of teas are carried here. They also have the ethereal Aero chocolate-peppermint bar and thick European KitKats. Not everything’s imported; they make their enticing-smelling pork pies on the premises.

Jet...

I think they did...that was copied from something I googled. Now I can't find the darn web page. If I'm correct, I think that store was in New York City. No area code.

Perhaps Toggle would know....

Good luck!

Suet is FAT, the stuff ya roll in birdseed & leave outside for the birds. Appetizing, I bet.

I have a British friend who fills me in on the delightful foods they have there- like Haggis (sp)

Suet

I knew suet was fat, but I'd never heard of it being used in anything BUT bird food. Does one have to go to a pet store to buy it? Is theer a different name for it in the supermarket?

No offense taken. Actually, thinking about it, it is funny. I'm a clinical massage therapist, melded that with the city I live in or Ann Arbor Massage Therapist. When I created my screen name for this site I just used my email screen name.
